Location: Central London
Start date: ASAP
This is a permanent, full time position.
Britain succeeds when it is a vibrant and open nation reaching out to the world. Global Future is an independent think tank that provides analysis, insight and ideas to help make that happen. We work across society, business and the arts – focusing on issues of migration, globalisation and diversity – to secure a successful global future for everyone.
We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic and energetic researcher to join our team.
This position offers a golden opportunity to play an influential role in a new and growing think tank.
Working with the Director of Research, you will provide research and analysis (including data analysis) across a wide range of projects.
You will draft briefing notes, provide policy support and contribute to our growing body of work from immigration and the economy, to Brexit and trade.
You will have at least one year’s experience working in policy research and analysis – preferably more.
You will be equally at home working with statistics or analysing legislation. An understanding of, and interest in, politics is essential.
You will be working within emerging and evolving debates from public service provision to Brexit – adaptability is essential.
Global Future is a new think tank and an organisation growing from the ground up – so attitude matters. Every member of staff from the managing director down is expected to show enthusiasm, energy, and initiative – and most importantly of all, a willingness to muck in where necessary. If that isn’t you, don’t apply.
Closing Date: 23 February 2018
